miles WSW from Gulf Harbors and about 20
miles North of
Tampa Bay. It is one of the Gulf
Coasts barrier islands. Just north of the island is a mile
and a half long 'Sand Bar" with sandy white beaches all around and
sheltered waters for swimming and snorkeling. A favorite place
for the locals. |
